Administration
Principal
Anthony Greco
Mr. Greco, a Colorado native and a former business owner, is in his second year as the proud principal of Carson Middle School. After playing professional soccer and running a competitive soccer club after college, Mr. Greco joined the Fountain-Fort Carson High School in 2009 as a social studies teacher, then a Dean of Students, and an Assistant Principal. He truly has a passion for educating the whole child, and for this school district.
Mr. Greco has a legacy as being a principal from his father, and has stated, “This is my dream job and my dream school.” Mr. Greco is a father of two teenage boys, and has tremendous insight into the adolescent experience. As principal, Mr. Greco wants Eagle families to know that he cares deeply for all students, treasures his teachers and staff, and has grown in his admiration for the tremendous sacrifices of our military community. As we navigate a changing and challenging time in public education, Mr. Greco sends out a welcome to families to contact him with their questions, concerns, and suggestions.

Assistant Principal
Stacie Hogue
Ms. Hogue, a proud mother of three thriving adult boys (Air Force brats need mothers, too). She has spent her entire life as a military dependent to include being born in Japan at Tachikawa Air Base. Having spent a decade and a half as a teacher in District 8, she now joins the administration team as an Assistant Principal after two years as the Dean of Students at Carson Middle School. She is truly a champion for our students and families as her passion is setting high standards for, and supporting the education of, the military child.
Ms. Hogue has a wide-range of responsibilities in her new role. She is the primary contact for 8th grade students, and she oversees the curriculum and instruction for the math and science departments. Ms. Hogue is our resident expert on safety and security. Needless to say, she is vital to Eagle leadership!

Assistant Principal/Athletic Director
Brett Derickson
Mr. Derickson comes to Carson Middle School after three years as an assistant principal at Fountain-Fort Carson High School. He is most proud of his 18 years as a social studies teacher and many years as a soccer coach. Mr. Derickson is a passionate educator whose love for learning extends far beyond the school house walls! Your students may refer to Mr. Derickson as the Paper Plate Assistant Principal as he wears a paper plate on his chest as a way to spread positive messages and to connect with students. Mr. Derickson is truly excited to be an Eagle as he is inspired by the rewards and challenges of serving our Army families.
A husband of twenty years, and the father of three teenagers, he understands both the power of a first-class education, along with the need to help students find their place in the world and community. It is Mr. Dericksons' hope that he will get to know each student and family in the Eagle community so he can assist in this journey.
